Traffic did not come on only one day, but I did receive 9,912 visits on the first day. I have also made the digg frontpage twice, first time my server could not servive it and the other time the story got burried after 3 minutes of hitting FP. Also, the day before I was about to get a story to FP when it got burried. It had received 41 diggs in the first 3 hours and then got burried because diggers would have not wanted kevin rose to notice it. If you are interested, I can post the links here.
