Well it looks like it’s that time again. Just noticed now that 3 of my websites went from pagerank 0 to PR 2 and my backlinks updated. I also see that my position for this blog for the term “affiliate marketing” on Google South Africa has also rose from #46 to #11 which is real good news.
I found a real nice tool to help you increase your pagerank, backlinks etc. The software is free but there is a better version for sale if you want to take the cash out for it. You can download the free version here.

I finally moved out of PR0 too, but I’m shocked that I’m now PR4!!!

Nice Mike, PR4, you must have some good links from high PR sites.
Google doesn’t have a facility too lookup your pagerank, according to me.
Oh wow, I didn’t even know backlinks from high PR sites will affect my own PR. I’m such a noob

LOL, ok no prob. I honestly suggest you download the free version of WebCeo and then buy the paid version later if you want to get into some real SEO.
The free version’s got some stunning facilities to check how high you rank for certain keywords so you don’t need to buy anything. Trust me, take the time and download it.
I will have to go check mine now and see if I’m outta the zero range. Do you know how often they update the PR and links ?

Whenever they feel like it. Sometimes every 4 months, sometimes 3.
darn.. mines just got from 2 to 0.. i was expecting it would increase.. what’s with google? everybody’s just noticing their PRs went down unexpectedly.. some went up but it would seem that they don’t deserve it.. i hope if there’s any problem with them, they’d fix it soon..
I got PR3 from PR2. It is good that the PR is increasing. On the next update I will be ready with quality backlinks. I am working on it.
And hey Phillip. If you don’t know about it. There is also a software called Comment Kahuna which searches for dofollow blogs according to the keywords you enter. Search google for it.

I still don’t really care too much for the pagerank but my blog seemed to jump from PR0 to PR4 a few weeks ago. Eh, I’m just going to continue to do what I do, nothings really going to change. lol
