why is it mine on the toolbar its pr4 but on blogflux it is still pr0 :(

Hey Joan,

I know the toolbar gives a lot of issues like slow response and still showing PR from previous visited websites. My toolbar says 0 on your site. How long has your blog been active?

Congrats! Mine is still at 0, but I finally got backlinks showing up in Google, I guess that’s something ;)

It’s weird. I think the algorithm of Google has changed. It just irritates me that they don’t let anybody know about any changes or updates etc. Both my blogs that’s about 2 months old went from PR0 to PR3. Firstly I thought it might be because my blog is active, but then my other blog has been a static from the start till now. Don’t get it, but I hope mine keeps going up and not down on the next update.

3 of my blogs are already updated with new PR’s and they are all going up!!

Can’t wait to see the rest of my blogs! I’m excited!!!

my pr is still 0

i started it last october, my toolbar still says it’s 4 even if it’s the only site open. i hope everything will be back to normal soon on my page. thanks Philip.

Thanks for the info!
My blog went from PR0 to PR3!

I had to run all my blogs through that checker first, and then through a lot of other checkers as well.

Amazingly, my http://www.woganmay.com blog has a PR of 2. It must be because woganmay.com used to be a whole lot more than just a new blog.

My main wordpress blog – woganmay.wordpress.com – has a PR of 3. And it has something like 6500 hits so far, with an average of 50 hits a day, so I suppose that there is a reason for that. And over 2000 spam comments :/

I came across a really funny link exchange site … let me dig up the url again. Because it really made me laugh.

Later.

Cool, I am doing a follow up on your article today about InsaneGB.
So check it out in about half an hour…

Strange, one of my latest blogs The World of Office Tips and Tricks. (this is the first PR ranking) has several PR2 pages, even more PR1 but the frontpage is PR0 hmmm

01.12.08

Lol, backlink maybe to those posts?

Yes I guess but it still strange. When the front page is 2 than it lifts the inner pages to a higher level. You would expect that it would be the other way around too…

I can be really dense sometimes, and I am apologizing ahead of time. But I don’t understand what the connection is between checking your blogs ranking
@ blogflux and the purpose of the code that you used in your post…

01.12.08

@Sadie – Man, I think I lost you there? Pagerank is the way Google ranks the importance of your page. 0 is the least at 10 is the best. There are many arguments to why it’s good to have a higher pagerank but it’s too long to explain.

I don’t catch what you mean with the “code that I used”?

Hi again, I guess I must have been on your home page when I read this post, this is the code that was puzzling me…unfortunately, I am all to familiar with the g**gle ranking system…

Thanks…8o)

@Sadie – Ok, now I get it. Still some bugs I have to sort out on my new theme.

01.12.08

Page rank is pointless and means nothing.

PR, isn’t pointless. It’s the first thing potential advertisers look at;).

For the rest it’s indeed pointless.

Interesting information thanks for writing
